An In Home Newborn Photography Session In NYC

My second to last shoot of 2022 was an in home newborn photography session in NYC, and it was so fun! I had a lovely time meeting this family and their two beautiful daughters, and photographing the session inside their light-filled apartment was such a joy.

Whenever an older sibling is present I always like to get a few special photos of them with their parents, and this worked out perfectly as baby Penelope was finishing up her nap at the time!

As you can see, beautiful mom Rachel wore two outfits that were perfect for a photo session. This eye-catching backless jumpsuit was so special, and the very simple, effortless, neutral dress she changed into afterwards was equally fantastic. Outfit changes are great an at in-home newborn session – it almost feels like you get two sessions in one since it adds so much variety to the gallery! And it couldn’t be easier to change since you’re at home, as opposed to an outdoor family session.

The girls also wore the most adorable matching outfits from Maisonette. They added a great dose of pattern that mixed perfectly with the neutral looks on mom and dad.
