An Indoor/Outdoor New York City Family Photography Session

Recently I had the most lovely family session that was what I call a hybrid session – meaning we did part of it outdoors and part of it in the client’s home. These can be really fun because you get a great variety in the gallery, and you get to include your home as the backdrop for part of the gallery. The clients were moving soon after the shoot and wanted photographs in the apartment they’d brought their baby girl home to, so it was really special! Their little girl is so cute and full of personality, and I think it really shines through in these photos!

We did the outdoor photos along the Hudson River Greenway, this really picturesque park that runs along the Hudson River downtown. There are water views with buildings off in the distance (very NYC!), pretty walking paths, greenery…such a great spot!
