Newborn sessions are always so much fun because it’s such an exciting and special time for new parents! It’s also often the first time since the baby arrived that they’re able to get dressed up, take a little breather, and just focus on the happiness of this time. I know that this is often a phase that flies by in a blur of sleepless nights, dirty diapers, and midnight feedings, and it’s an honor to be able to preserve for new parents the parts of it that they’ll want to remember – their baby’s teensy tiny toes, the incredible love they’re feeling, and the blissfulness of a calm, sweet little newborn swaddled up and snoozing. Newborn photos will be special mementos to look back on, but even beyond that, the session itself is a great way to step outside the craziness for a moment and embrace a chance to just take it all in.
